The Headshot Experience: What to Expect Before, During, and After Your Session

Most people don't like having their picture taken.  If that's you, you're in good company.  Almost every client who walks through my studio door in Hebron, Kentucky says some version of the same thing: "I hate having my picture taken."  By the time they leave, that feeling is gone.

What Happens After the Shoot

This is the part people ask about most.  Once your session wraps, I select the strongest images and retouch them with a natural, polished finish, nothing overdone.  Delivery is same week, so you're not left waiting weeks to get images you can actually use.  Depending on your session, you'll leave with one to five finished images, ready for LinkedIn, your website, a resume, or wherever you need to make a strong first impression.

The Real Payoff

For most people, a headshot ends up living on LinkedIn, and that's exactly where it should be doing its job.  A polished, professional photo is often the first impression someone gets of you online, before a resume, before a portfolio, before a single word of conversation.
